US pop duo Karmin are set to release their debut EP Hello through RCA records on August 6th.  This release will be preceded by the Capital Radio play-listed single Brokenhearted on July 22nd.

Karmin took the internet by storm last year after posting a cover of Chris Brown’s ‘Look At Me Now’ on YouTube. The clip instantly went viral and became one of YouTube’s most viewed videos of 2011. The duo has since racked up almost 200 million views for their videos.

Officially on a mission to conquer the world, duo Karmin  – consisting of Nick Noonan and Amy Heidemann - were recently picked as MTV US’ PUSH campaign artist, coming hot off the heels of VEVO’s ‘The Lift’ promotion which garnered millions in views. They are also nominated for two 2012 Teen Choice Awards for “Breakout Group” and “Web Star” which take place on Sunday July 22nd.

Karmin can currently be seen splashed across the pages of NYLON, Elle, Teen Vogue and on the cover of YRB in America, and the band have appeared on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Ellen Degeneres show, Chelsea Lately, and Saturday Night Live (http://youtu.be/NbObh9iQ-dI).

The duo are set to hit the road this summer in the U.S. with Flo Rida, Cee-Lo Green and Kirko Bangz for the ‘R You On The List’ tour while playing headlining college gigs across the country. In addition, Karmin have been headlining Gay Pride festivals including LA, Kansas City, Chicago and Palm Springs.

The single Brokenhearted has this week been certified platinum in the US, is Top 10 at US radio, and is #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart.  With the track already on the B-list at Capital radio, playlisted on The Hits, Smash Hits, Imagine FM and Fire FM, and with the video already on MTV Hits, The Box, Chart show and Muzmusic, the UK is sure to follow suit.

“This year has been a whirlwind and being able to release Hello is a major milestone for us,” said Nick Noonan. Amy Heidemann added, “We are so humbled that our fans have enjoyed our original music and we can’t wait to share more hip-hop infused pop tracks inspired by love, determination and good old fashion fun!”

The tracklisting for the Hello EP is:

1.Walking On The Moon / 2. Brokenhearted / 3. I Told You So / 4. Too Many Fish / 5.  I’m Just Sayin’ / 6. Coming Up Strong / 7.Hello
